BSL Affected Dogs
Xl Bully and exempt dogs can continue to enjoy being muzzle and lead free!

If you are bringing a dog affected by BSL to the field (either on their own or with others), you must comply with our field rules.

Your dog must be registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate must be provided to us in the event of a claim. You may upload this document on our booking platform.

Your dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the secured area. This includes anywhere outside of the securely fenced area.

Your dog must be put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the secured area.

You must only remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured area with the gate closed behind you.

Your dog must have Public Liability Insurance, and the certificate must be provided to us in the event of a claim. You may upload this document on our booking platform.

Your dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times. Specifically, if your household has more than 1 dog they are able to come to the field together, but the banned breed dog must have its own handler and then another member of the same household needs to be present to supervise the other dogs.

If there is more than 1 banned breed in the household they can come together but each dog must have its own handler.

BSL affected Dogs cannot mix with dogs from other households even if muzzled.

your dog must be Neutered - some XL Bully will be too young depending on age by 1st Feb, the insurance company has advised you are still able to use the our field aslong as your sticking to the government guidelines and will be neutered by the following year.

Your dog must be Micro Chipped.

Rules and Regulations
​​
We know they're boring, but they're important. By booking and entering any of our secure exercise areas you are agreeing to our terms and the following Rules & Regulations.

Please take all litter home with you, No dog waste from anywhere other than the field to be put in the poo bin.

Children welcome but must be supervised at all times during your visit.

No smoking in the field or parking area.

Gate must be locked, secured, and numbers of the padlock moved when entering and exiting the field.

Please exit the field no later than five minutes before the end of your booking. The parking area needs to be vacant for the next person waiting to drive in on the hour. Do not enter the field if the previous customer is still in the field.

Vaccinations and flea treatments: In line with veterinary advice, we recommend that all dogs visiting are up to date with vaccinations and flea treatments.

Please help keep the field clean by picking up your dog poo and others you may see. Please use the poop bags supplied on the perimeter fencing and dispose in the specialist bins provided.

Please do not leave dogs in the field unattended.

your dog remains your responsibility at all times.

Maximum six dogs per booking.

All cars to be parked in the parking area. PLEASE DO NOT PARK OUTSIDE THE FIELD. If you choose to park on site, you do so at your own risk. Helping Hands Dog Park accept no responsibility for any loss or damages. No more than six cars at any one time.

Please note that all cancellations within 48 hours of the booking are charged at the full rate.

To help us maintain a peaceful environment please refrain from unnecessary shouting and barking excessively in the field. Out of respect for our neighbours please keep noise to a minimum. Verbal and physical abuse: Verbal or physical abuse towards dogs or other users will not be tolerated.​

We do not accept liability for injury, damage, loss or accidents from using our field.

Helping Hands reserves the right to withdraw permission of use at any time

We have full public liability insurance.

Please note the field is hilly! Those with poor mobility may struggle once beyond the flat sections in our carpark.

Collars, harnesses, and ID tags: Dogs must always wear a collar or harness and ID tag. Choke chains, prong collars, and other such devices are not permitted.​

Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn at all times. Areas may be muddy in wet weather.
